  • Hostel fees are paid directly to the hostel or accommodation provider.

  • DEBATI does not collect or hold university fees, hostel fees or visa embassy fees on behalf of any institution.

  • The above fee structure is in USD. INR equivalent is calculated at the prevailing exchange rate on the date of payment.

  • All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

5. University Tuition Fees Disclaimer

University tuition fees quoted on our Website or by our counsellors are approximate and subject to change at the discretion of the respective universities.

DEBATI provides tuition fee information in good faith based on information available at the time of counselling. Students and parents must verify the exact current fee directly with the university before making any payment.

DEBATI is not responsible for any fee increases, currency fluctuations or policy changes made by the universities after a student’s application has been submitted.

6. Eligibility & Admission

6.1 Student Eligibility

Students applying for MBBS in Georgia through DEBATI must meet the following minimum criteria:

  • Passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English

  • Minimum 50% in PCB (40% for reserved categories)

  • NEET qualified (mandatory for Indian students)

  • Minimum age of 17 years

  • Valid Indian passport

6.2 DEBATI’s Role in Admission

DEBATI acts as an education consultancy and facilitator only. We do not:

  • Guarantee admission to any university

  • Guarantee a specific NEET score cut-off for any university

  • Make admission decisions — all final admission decisions are made solely by the respective university

  • Guarantee scholarship availability at any university

6.3 Accuracy of Information Provided

Students and parents must provide accurate, complete and truthful information to DEBATI at all times. Any misrepresentation of academic qualifications, NEET scores, financial status or personal details may result in:

  • Cancellation of the application without refund

  • Rejection by the university

  • Visa refusal by Georgian authorities

  • Termination of DEBATI’s services

DEBATI is not liable for any consequences arising from false or incomplete information provided by the student or parent.

7. Visa Services Disclaimer

7.1 DEBATI’s Role in Visa

DEBATI prepares and organizes your D3 Student Visa application file and guides you through the submission process.

However:

  • Visa decisions are made solely by Georgian immigration authorities. DEBATI has no influence over or control of visa decisions.

  • While DEBATI maintains a 99.5% visa success rate, this does not constitute a guarantee of visa approval for any individual student.

  • Visa processing timelines are determined by Georgian authorities and may vary.

  • DEBATI is not responsible for visa rejections due to incomplete documents provided by the student, prior travel history, immigration history or any reason outside DEBATI’s control.

7.2 In Case of Visa Rejection

In the rare event of a visa rejection:

  • DEBATI will assess the reason for rejection and advise on next steps

  • Reapplication support will be provided where applicable

  • DEBATI service fees already paid for completed stages are non-refundable

  • University tuition fees already paid to the university are subject to the university’s own refund policy

8. FMGE / NExT Disclaimer

Indian students who graduate from Georgian universities must clear the FMGE (Foreign Medical Graduate Examination) or NExT (National Exit Test) as mandated by the National Medical Commission (NMC) of India to obtain medical registration and practice medicine in India.

DEBATI provides guidance and coordination support for FMGE/NExT preparation. However:

  • FMGE / NExT examination results depend entirely on the student’s own effort, preparation and performance

  • DEBATI does not guarantee FMGE / NExT pass results for any student

  • Pass rates vary across universities and individual students

  • Students must verify current NMC guidelines regarding FMGE/NExT requirements independently

9. University Recognition Disclaimer

All four DEBATI partner universities (SEU, UG, Alte, DTMU) are listed as NMC-approved and WHO-listed at the time of publication of these Terms.

However:

  • Recognition status of universities may change at any time as per decisions of NMC, WHO or Georgian education authorities

  • Students must independently verify the current recognition status of their chosen university with NMC India before making any payment

  • DEBATI updates information on its Website in good faith but cannot guarantee real-time accuracy of recognition status

  • DEBATI is not liable for any changes in recognition status that occur after a student’s enrollment

10. Education Loan Assistance

DEBATI assists students with education loan documentation and bank selection.

  • Loan approval decisions are made solely by the respective bank or NBFC

  • DEBATI does not guarantee loan approval for any student

  • Loan interest rates, terms and conditions are as per individual bank policies and may change

  • DEBATI is not a financial institution and does not provide loans directly

  • Students must review and agree to their loan terms independently with the bank

11. Post-Landing Services

DEBATI’s post-landing services in Georgia (airport pickup, hostel, SIM, bank account, TRC) are provided through DEBATI MEDICAL FOUNDATION in Tbilisi.

11.1 Hostel & Accommodation

  • DEBATI arranges accommodation in its own hostel or partner accommodation in Tbilisi

  • Hostel allocation is subject to availability at the time of arrival

  • Hostel fees are paid directly to the hostel — not to DEBATI

  • DEBATI is not responsible for any damage, theft, personal injury or disputes arising from hostel accommodation after the student has been placed

11.2 Bank Account & SIM

  • DEBATI assists with bank account opening and SIM card procurement in Georgia

  • Timelines for these services depend on Georgian banking and telecom regulations and may vary

  • DEBATI is not responsible for any delays caused by Georgian government or banking institution processes

11.3 TRC (Temporary Residence Certificate)

  • DEBATI assists with TRC application filing at the Civil Registry of Georgia

  • TRC issuance is at the discretion of Georgian authorities

  • Students must apply for TRC within 30 days of arrival as per Georgian law

12. Student & Parent Responsibilities

By engaging DEBATI’s services, students and parents agree to:

  • Provide accurate, complete and truthful information at all times

  • Submit all required documents within agreed timelines

  • Pay DEBATI service fees at the correct stages as agreed

  • Pay university tuition fees directly to the university within deadlines set by the university

  • Inform DEBATI promptly of any changes in personal details, NEET scores or circumstances

  • Attend counselling sessions, university interviews and pre-departure briefings on time

  • Follow all Georgian laws, university rules and hostel regulations after arrival in Georgia

  • Maintain their own academic performance and exam preparation independently

  • Not share DEBATI’s proprietary materials, documents or processes with third parties

13. Code of Conduct

Students using DEBATI’s services agree to:

  • Treat all DEBATI team members with respect and professionalism
